Summary: Summary: Join us for a challenging and enriching experience at Harvard this summer. Our more than 300 courses are taught by Harvard professors and visiting scholars during the day, evening, and online. Harvard Summer School offers summer programs for high school students, university students interested in study abroad, and those interested in Ukrainian language and culture. These programs require application.

Pre-College Program (two weeks)

In this program, high school students who will graduate in 2016 or 2017 take a two-week noncredit course and participate in college prep and social activities. Live on campus and enjoy a summer of discovery in the Harvard Pre-College Program.

Secondary School Program (seven weeks)

If you are graduating from high school in 2015, 2016, or 2017 and are interested in taking summer courses for credit, you can apply to our Secondary School Program. Live on campus, commute, or study online and immerse yourself in a true college environment.

Study abroad

Choose from more than 20 study abroad programs in Europe, Latin America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Harvard faculty design and lead each program, offering five- to 10-week experiential learning opportunities for university students in the sciences, languages, humanities, and social sciences.

Ukrainian Summer Institute

Challenge yourself and study Ukrainian languages, history, politics, or literature. Take advantage of the Ukrainian Research Institute’s research and instructional facilities in the only program of its kind in North America.
